South Africa is well prepared to welcome everyone for the world cup 2010
South Africa is into high gear for the preparations of world cup 2010. Billions of dollars have invested already for the infrastructural decoration to welcome other percipient countries. As the clock winds down for the June 11,everyone is becoming excited day by day.
South Africa's national football team has launched an intense series of training camps and friendly matches in preparation. They are proud to be the host of the World Cup.
The stadiums are perfect for 2010, for the big matches. There is also arrangement to go to shopping, sea beaches and tourism. The South African government has spent billions of dollars building five new stadiums and refurbishing five others, including Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria and Johannesburg.
While visiting South Africa few days ago, the head coach of Argentina's national team, Diego Maradona, praised the country a lot for the football facilities provided by them.Maradona, who is viewed as one of the best footballers of recent times, dismissed fears over security. He said spending a week in South Africa that “the people are good and very friendly. I have no doubt that it will be a great World Cup and there will be no problem with security”. The South African organizers stopped all the critics’ word.
The South African government has invested millions of dollars in improving transportation, accommodation and other tourism facilities. It is also training 40,000 additional police officers and buying millions of dollars worth of law enforcement equipment.The fourth phase of ticket sales was launched on Feb. 9. Officials say two-thirds of them have been bought and 11 of the 64 matches have already been sold out.
We can hope that the world cup will make a big market in south Africa and create a lot of job opportunity for people.---And all teams and fans and audiences may hope for a worm and gorgeous welcome in south Africa.
