The South African Football Association CEO Leslie Sedibe has confirmed that the association has made an agreement with the players over bonuses.Sedibe had expressed the news a few days ago relating to bonus negotiations and after the 23-man squad for the World Cup 2010 was announced yesterday, Sedibe revealed an agreement has been reached.
"I'm very pleased to inform you that we have reached an agreement with the players," said Sedibe without much explaination on the matter at a press conference.
As part of the bonus structure, the players will approximately share R1 million for every goal scored during the World Cup.
However, Sedibe didn't reveal what the players stand to pocket for a win or a draw. He has already confirmed, though, that there will be no bonus when Bafana lose a match.
